Parachutes, Petting Zoos, and Ponies

There was a "Spring Eggstravaganza" (their name, not mine)in Golden Gate Park last weekend, promising arts & crafts, carnival rides, live entertainment, people on stilts, egg hunts, and other Spring festivities. It was a mad house. We happily availed ourselves until West developed a fever and begged to go home. But not before petting a ton of furry creatures (bunnies, ducks, chickens, goats, and sheep), romping under a giant parachute, blowing bubbles, jumping in a bouncy castle, and riding a pony. I can only imagine what he might have packed into that hour if he had been feeling well!

I just love this one!

Okay, and this one too

Gazing wistfully at the ponies from the petting zoo enclave

We were somewhat unprepared for the egg hunt

West's sub-standard basket stand-in clearly held him back
