Peanutella FTW!

I've been making homemade peanutella lately (from this excellent recipe - it's easy! And vegan!) and I think it's safe to say that West is a fan. A big one. A great, big, giant one. He wears it well.

This is a big week for birthdays - Auntie Kate and Grandma today, Mimi tomorrow. Happy birthday all! Since I can't send them a kid, I thought I'd share a boatload of photos from a fabulous birthday party we were lucky enough to be invited to last weekend. West got to see his old friends Matteo & Julian and it was a heck of a party with a Toy Story theme - two playgrounds, a huge lawn with soccer balls and a goal, a ballooon lady, a make-your-own alien mask arts and crafts station, a piñata (West pulled the winning string!) and wonderful food. Seriously - there are a lot of photos so get comfortable.

Yes, we went to Disneyland last weekend and a great time was had by all. Rides, frozen (strawberry!) lemonade, scary characters from movies West has never seen, souvenirs, and much, much blog fodder. This is the first of several Disney posts - I thought it best to start with a classic: the beloved Mickey ears hat. West chose the embroidery color himself and refused to take it off except to sleep.

West had his first swim lessons a week ago and they were a total bust. Poor kid screamed himself horse the entire time. Just be glad this post doesn't include any audio.
